Lingering Heat

Lingering Heat is a superpower that gives me a different perspective of space and redefines what stays when someone goes. The idea of the superpower is to observe unnoticeable thermal particles' behaviors in the past tense and gain the privilege of observing thermal data from others without presenting or communicating needed. 

In this project, I stimulated infrared cameras and particle animations to observe the past “criminal activities”. The film is presented from the perspective of my view and thoughts to illustrate an immersive experience of lingering heat as a superpower. Considering further, what will happen if technology is taking over our bodies and giving us more superpowers, e.g. infrared goggles as my vision? Lingering Heat discussed the further potential of technology as an extension of the human body and giving us more superpowers at the same time.
