Capsule Bottle

Drink water on time and on track

Product Overview

Capsule bottle is an intelligent, heatable water bottle paired with a mobile app. It is for office people who need a regular drink water schedule and reminders to take medicine/nutrients on time while working. People will customize their everyday reminders and track the overall status on a mobile app.

Problem Statement

It is very often for people to take medicines or even daily vitamin supplements regularly on time. Also, people tend to forget to drink enough water when they are busy working. If commuters want to take the supplement with warm water, people have to take a pillbox, water bottle, and kettle to their workplace. Capsule is a great product that contains all functions, and all you do is take Capsule to the workplace. Everything will be much easier.

Brainstorming

Wireframes

During the wire-framing stage, four main functions decisions were made. However, how to make a fluent transition between these functions is the part I am working on.

Usability Test

After I done with this version, I am not sured if user will truly like the experience of the app. I did user test and get some feedback from real users.

“ The large wheel is hard to use. One button maybe easier in fact.”

“I feel there’s overwhelming information and graphics running towards me.”

“Is there a way I can type in the degree rather than rotating the wheel?”

After the test, I realize that sometimes graphics is fun but if it is out of the real life, it will overwhelm potential users. Based on comments, I adjusted and made a new version.
